Chapter 13: Dual

In this Season 3 Finale, the clash between Pinehearst and Primatech squad is about to meet it's climax. After the death of Arthur Petrelli, his son Nathan continues to realize his Father's Idea of better Future of humankind. Peter, on the other hand, opposed to the idea and tries to stop Nathan.

At Primatech Sylar holds Angela,Claire,Noah and Meredith. Sylar tries to prove that sooner or later one by one, they will become monsters, just like him. Claire believe that she knows how to defeat Sylar since she knows the weakness of self-healer like her.

After knocking Nathan into unconcious, Peter tries to destroy Pinehearst lab. His acts is followed by Flint and Knox. Mohinder fails to stop them.

Meanwhile Sylar toys his abductees in order to prove that they are mosnters just like him. He manages to inject Meredith with adrenaline shoot so that she can't no longer control her ability. Noah is kept in Level 5 cell with Meredith. Sylar tells him that in order to survive Meredith uncontrolled flame, Noah should shoot her. Claire saves Noah from the cage by breaking the glass but Meredith ask Claire and Noah to leave her alone.

In the Study Sylar forces Angella to reaveal the truths about his parentage. and she admits she's not his mother. He admits that for one moment he wishes she were, and asks why she did it. She says her sons have been a disappointment and she wanted to give her love to him, but he can tell she's lying. She explains she needed him to work for the Company and saw him as a killer and a monster that could be manipulated. She admits she's a monster too. He telekinetically starts choking her, and asks her if there is no good in the world. He demands that she tell him something that makes him believe that not everyone is a monster like him, and Angela says she knows who his real parents are. She warns that if he kills her, he'll never find out, but he chokes her and demands answers.

When Meredith flames blazes out and sweeps out Primatech building, everybody tries to save themselves and Peter finally injects himself with the serum and regain his power and saves Nathan.

Hiro finally manages to tear up the formula.

End of season 3 is when Claire, Noah, and Angela watch Primatech burn.

Season 4 tittled "Fugitives" begins three weeks later. Nathan meets with someone in a limousine in Washington, DC, saying that their only option is to get the U.S. government involved. While the other man is going through files of Tracy, Micah, Mohinder, Matt, and Hiro, Nathan says that there are many others with powers. Stating that the evidence the man needs is there, Nathan reveals his plan: to put all powered individuals in a facility where they won't be a danger to anyone. The man agrees to get him whatever he needs, and Nathan leaves the limousine, saying "Thank you, Mr. President." We can see a glimpse of an Afro-American President in the Limo.

Chapter 12: Our Father

Hiro and Claire travel back to 1991 on Deveaux's rooftop in Manhattan where they witness Kaito gives Baby Claire to Noah.

Accompanied by The Haitian, Nathan arrives at PineHearst to confront Arthur, where he meets Tracy and wonder what she is doing there. Tracy explains that she is there to help Nathan to White House pathway and Arthur acknowledges that He needs a legitimate face for Pinehearst. Tracy shows Nathan a squad of 50 Marines that she recruited from Parris Island.

Peter and the haitian confronts Arthur at the office. The hatians manage to hold Arthur's Power and ask Peter to shoot his father. Arthur persuades Peter that he is willing to give his power back. In this struggle Arthur manages to put the haitian into unconciousness and cut Peter on his cheek. Peter shoots Arthur but Sylar comes and freeze the bullet and disarm Peter.

After acquiring new ability from Sue landers, Sylar confronts Arthur and asks him about his parentage. By using his new power Sylar is able to know the truth about his parent.

Meanwhile in Pinehearst lab, Nathan order Mohinder to inject sergeant Scott of the squad.

The Eclipse, Part 2

Sandra acompanies the badly wounded Claire to the ER while Noah plans to hunt down Elle and Sylar. On her death door Claire begs for his father. Sandra tries to convince that Noah is on his way to the hospital but Claire doubts it. She thinks that his father prioritize his mission over her daughter as usual.

Nathan,Peter and the hatian fought Samedi. Hiro and Ando is looking for the new issue of 9th Wonder Comic.

When The Eclipse ends all heroes restore their powers. Claire is back from death and when
Noah returns home Claire is laying in her bedroom. She accuses him of abandoning her again and viewing her as just an assignment.

Mohinder foughts Flint into unconscious. He takes Flint’s key card, grabs Maya’s address, and leaves.

In order to restore his memories, Hiro tries to find Claire. By the time Sylar and Elle fought Noah and Claire, Hiro pops up and teleport with her to the past.

The Eclipse, Part 1

Arthur instructs Sylar and Elle to team up and find the catalyst.

Nathan and Peter fly to Haiti looking for The Haitian, who is looking for a Level 5 escapee,Baron Samedi. This villain is involved with slavery and drug trafficking.

When Matt scans Dhapne's head, he find Lawrence,KS and this leads to her former life secret.

When second eclipse occurs, all heroes losses their super abilities. This natural event causes panic, frustration and confusion in the heroes universe. Nathan and Peter fall to a lake in their flight to Haiti. Mat cannot scan other's thought. And so Elle and sylar can not glare their abilities when facing Noah and Claire. But a gun blast has wounded Claire that has no longer death-proof ability. Although Noah can put Sylar and Elle down, he has to rescue the badly injured Claire.

Chapter 9: It's Coming

Usutu the Precog was decapited and Hiro was held by Arthur. Hiro managed to escape from Arthur by teleporting himself to a bowling alley in Tokyo.

Arthur comments that it’s hard to believe that Peter could have survived the fall. He understand that Gabriel had helped Peter somehow. He takes Sylar down the hall and explains he can teach his son how to take powers without killing by harnessing his empathy.

Nathan and Tracy arrive outside Pinehearst, and he remembers a cabin called Pinehearst where Arthur took Nathan and Peter fishing.

Tracy says there may be a reason Arthur kept his existence secret, but Nathan says he has to know the truth and see his father if he’s alive. They go to Arthur’s office and meet him. Arthur asks him to come give him a hug and Nathan cautiously circles him.

Arthur addresses Tracy by name and shakes hands with her. Nathan asks if Arthur knows what he did to the family and Arthur admits he should have told Nathan what Nathan's role was in all this.

Peter and Claire is still on the run and have to confront Knox and Flint.

Peter, Nathan, Claire, Matt, and Daphne are gathered in Angela's Room. Meanwhile, Tracy, Knox, Sylar, Elle, and Flint are gathered in Arthur's office as Arthur, in a precognitive trance, is drawing a sketch of the eclipse. Arthur finishes his drawing looks up and says “It’s coming.”

Chapter 8: Villains

Guided by Usutu,The Precog, Hiro goes on a spirit walk to the past, seeking the origins of the villains: Hiro begins to see events that happened in the past.

So the story goes a year back, where Arthur were alive, Noah and Elle were in a team to frame Gabriel, everything start from here. We can almost see scene of season 1 but in a clearer glass. For example you might see claire rescue people in a fire where the origin of the fire was her mom's hand.

Meredith and her brother trapped in a fight with the company agent, Thompson. You can also see the background story of Nathan's Wife,Heidi's injured and crippled in a car accident.

In this episode we shall apprehend How Arthur had manipulated his wife Angela and turned her into a cold bloody Mommy Petrelli.

Chapter 7: Eris Quod Sum

In order to cure his beloved Maya, Mohinder seeks help from Arthur Petrelli. Maya's deadly ability was actually removed and drained by Arthur. Unfortunately this would not change how Maya feel about Mohinder.

Whispered throuh his Mom's dream, Sylar goes to Pinehearst to rescue his brother,Peter.

While looking for answer from Mohinder, Tracy and Nathan were sedated by Mohinder. After defeating Doyle the puppet guy, Claire found that Elle was waiting for her at home. Surely there was some fire flare and electricity sparks at Bennet's residence, but finally Claire teamed up with Elle to find some answers for their problems.

Failed to ask Mat to join her Army, Daphne was instructed to kill the guy.

Sylar rescued Peter but Arthur managed to persuade him to throw Peter out of the high storey building. Luckily Peter escaped miraculously without his power.

Note: The title phrase is part of a quote of latin author Horace "Eram quod es; eris quod sum," (often on early generations of New England gravestones): "I was who you are — you will be what I am."

Chapter 6. Dying of the Light

Claire tried to save Meredith from Eric Doyle but ended up hostaged by the puppet master. As a new member of the super villain army Hirowas assigned to catch the African Precog.

Peter put Sylar into Level 5’s cage while Nathan and Tracy were captured by mutated Mohinder.

Peter finally surprised by the rebirth of his father and the loss of his power at the same time.

Chapter 5. Angels and Monsters

The hunger Peter insisted Angela to reveal the secret. Before Peter could get into her head, Sylar fought Peter and saved his mother. Claire started her mission of capturing the bad guy, starting with the one who can create vortex. Meanwhile Hiro expecting Adam Monroe can help them to find the missing formula. The Ghost Linderman used Daphne to recruit super villain for a secret dangerous team.

In her confrontation with the vortex guy, Claire saved by Sylar. Hiro lose Adam in a bar fight. Tracy and Nathan tried to get an answer from Angela about their ability but had to receive the fact that they were victim of the company’s genetic experiment. Nathan suggested that he and Tracy consult with Mohinder.

HRG was waiting for the right moment to kill Sylar by using the vortex guy. Hiro did a sacrifice in order to join Daphe army of bad asses. As a ticket to join in Hiro had to kill Ando. Meredith who were supposed to help Claire got caught by Eric Doyle, the puppet master. At the end of the chapter there was an interesting surprise to Petrelli’s Familly.

Chapter 4. I am become Death

Mohinder find that the serum inside his blood has unwanted effects. Tracy find out that she and Niki are siblings. Travelled to the future with future Peter, present Peter got caught by the renegade Claire and friends but once again he managed to escape.

Present Peter travel through time to meet future Sylar and Peter gain Sylar’s power. As the consequences Peter starving for power and become the bad guy. While Future Sylar managed to surpressed his hunger for new power. In a confrontation with Claire and her renegade team, the two has to team up and cooperate but once again Peter put into strained and captured, and escape again.

Chapter 3. One of Us, One of them

Tracy going to New Orleans to trace Niki. Helped by Micah gift, Tracy find out that her super ability has to do with Dr Zimmerman. Claire guided by her real mother Meredith, try to revenge Sylar and catch the bad guys.

Chapter 2. The Butterfly Effect

Angela reminds his son, Future Peter that his acts of changing events in history had caused consequences. After her traumatic encounter with Sylar, Claire feel that she had lost her humanity since she can no longer feel pain. She then tried another death defying stunt but lucklily saved by her uncle,Peter. Nathan was shocked by the stunning Tracy Strauss’ resemblance of Nikki Sanders although Tracy seriously claimed that she is not Nikki and know nothing about the name.

After regaining his power Sylar restarting his jouney and his hunger for power. This time he got the company boss, Bob. Knowing his father’s death Elle Help HRG to chase Sylar. Although having an undestructable power from Claire, Sylar is captured by Elle’s and HRG . The showdown between Elle and Sylar accidentally releash ed all the super villains out of Level 5. Tracy being forced by a reporter unleashed her power that frozen the man and torn him into pieces. Now that Elle’s father is death, Angela Petrelli has the honor to run the company. Accused responsible for the escape of super villain of Level 5, Elle was fired by Angela . Mat Parkman meet an African precog at the desert. Captured on Level 5, Sylar surprised by the fact that Angela might be his mother.

Chapter 1. The Second Coming

Season 2 finale (See chapter 34 Powerless) was a dramatic scene when Nathan Petrelli was shot by unkown while starting a press conference to reveal his super ability.

A sneak peek of season 3 was shown with Sylar regaining his power (Remmember the spinach can scene?). Well the volume called “Villains” opening scene is Future Peter chased by renegade Future Claire. This 4 year in the future shows that Peter becoming an outlaw chased and supposed to be responsible for another catastrophs. Peter managed to escape Claire’s bullet by travelling back to the present and revealed to be the unkown shooter of season 2 finale.

Finally Claire got a closed encounter with the super villain Sylar and things are not going to be the same anymore. Hiro tried to accomplish his mission to save the world by searching the stolen secret formula. The formula that can trigger another apocalypse was accidentally opened by Hiro and stolen by a new hero, “the speedster “ Dhapne who can move faster than wind.

After escaping death and mirraculous rebirth, Nathan perceived it as “the act of God” and make him more spirituall.

Mohinder still chasing the cure to Maya’s anomalies, is surprised that his works turns out to be a serum to create super abilities! It tempts him to inject the serum to his own blood and becoming a super human himself.

Last Night's Season debut of "Heroes"

Last night Heroes Premiere was a special two-hour extravaganza that will introduce a season called "Villains." It starts four years in the future, with a renegade future Claire confronting future Peter for revealing the heroes' special powers to the world and leaving them vulnerable to predators and enemies. But before Claire can shoot him, Peter travels back in time to see if he can stop the big reveal from happening.

Peter shot his own brother so that he wouldn't reveal the truth. It is the third time for Peter to forsee future apocalypse. Such plots are not only confused us but also boring as if seeing the same old movie again and again.
Every changes made on history has its consequences. So when Peter travels back to prevent Nathan from revealing the truth, all kind of Super Human are unleashed. Angela Petrelli (Peter and Nathan's Mom) is now in charge after Elle's father death.. She could also be Sylar's mother. Which would be an interesting twist to discover.

Other characters are still wandering around and stuck in the same story loop.
Hiro is still racing through time to stop an end-of-the-world tragedy.

Claire is back to videotaping her death-defying stunts, and Mohinder is still a good-looking cipher but with super abilities. Even Linderman is back from the dead. Would all of these keep you on your seat or feel like switching to a better show?

Heroes: Season 3 Premier on September 22

The time has come for all heroes to show their abilities to save the world (or destroy it). The most anticipated series finally aired September 22, 9.00 PM on NBC.

Main characters like Claire and Peter could play important points and twists as to rewind the story or to open new plots. There shall be a spiritual rebirth of Nathan (Adrian Pasdar) and Mohinder must peel more in order to understand the why and how. Sylar might regain his power by various cruel and tricky ways, while along the way there might be more super human to be introduced.

Fans that had been let down by season 2, might give this tv hit another shot to indulge them but definetely reluctant to watch merely super abilities. People demand more twists and thrill-discoveries, not replications or recycling plots. The production team inevitably should take serious notes on previous season failures. Surely Heroes is not a circus of freak or super mutant show like The X-men. Enphasize should be made on consistent but not recycling plots. If ever Tim Kring attempts to replicate his chaotic and diversed plots as in Season 2, fans surely switch to a better show and the party ends even earlier. Break a leg, Tim!

Earlier this week, one of television's top shows teased its devoted fan base with a peek at its upcoming season that is already conjuring up theories about what exactly will happen. The show is Lost, and the extended trailer that sprung up all over the Web yesterday shows clips from the upcoming fourth season, which begins at the end of January.

Late last week, another one of television's top shows teased fans with a peek at what's to come through a new trailer. Only this time, the show is Heroes, and the distribution of the trailer wasn't nearly as widespread.

Tim Kring debuted a new look at Volume Three of Heroes--dubbed "Villains"--at the Jules Verne Adventure Film Festival, where the show was being honored on Saturday. Thanks to one sneaky attendee, footage has surfaced online.

The 50-second clip focuses largely on Sylar, who has his powers and his villainous swagger back. The clip also shows Kristen Bell as Elle, H.R.G. discussing the dangers of bad people possessing powers, and in the trailer's most "OMG!" moment, momma Petrelli hanging out with Sylar.

According to TVGuide.com, the footage was taken from this season's episodes 12 and 13, the two that follow the conclusion of "Volume Two: Generations" and have yet to air due to complications from the strike.

Sang kreator "Heroes",Tim Kring, akhirnya mau juga menemui dan memberikan tanggapan terhadap kritikan para penggemar serial hits "Heroes". Seperti diketahui Fara fans menganggap penurunan rating sebesar 15 % dibandingkan periode yang sama tahun yang lalu kemungkinan karena kreativitas cerita yang menurun. Senin pagi kemarin di luar Studio Hollywod akhirnya penulis dan produser berusia 50 tahun ini menjumpai para penggemar "Heroes". Tim meminta maaf atas kekecewaan sebagian fans dan menyadari bahwa dia perlu memberi energi baru ke dalam serial yang fenomenal ini. Bukan itu saja penulis dan produser "So Sureal" ini juga mengungkapkan self-critique-nya terhadap perkembangan cerita Heroes, antara lain sebagai berikut. Pertama: Cerita berjalan lamban. Tim mengakui kalau penonton menginginkan adrenalin dari bangunan cerita. Kedua: Cerita terlalu terpecah. Pada 5 episode terbaru Tim mulai mengembalikan jalinan cerita ke para tokoh sentral seperti Peter Petrelli (diperankan Milo Ventimiglia) dan The Horn-rimmed glassess yang adalah ayah Claire Bennett (diperankan Jack coleman). Ketiga: Plot "Penyelamatan dunia dari Bencana Nuklir" seharusnya muncul lebih awal bukan sejak episode 7. Ke-empat: Kemunculan tokoh-tokoh baru yang kurang pas timingnya, seperti Monica (Dana Daniel), Maya (Dania Ramirez) dan Alejandro (Shalim Ortz). Ke-lima: Hiro terlalu lama berada di abad ke 17 Jepang. Ke-enam: Kisah cinta remaja yang membosankan pada tokoh Claire dan Hiro. In this episode, we are introduced to Peter Petrelli, a young man who dreams of flying, and his brother Nathan, a ruthless politician who thinks that Peter is dreaming his life away.

Meanwhile, ordinary people from all around the world are starting to suspect that they have abilities beyond those of normal humans. Artist Isaac Mendez believes that he is painting the future, high school cheerleader Claire Bennet is suddenly able to recover from any wound almost instantly, Japanese businessman Hiro Nakamura tries to convince a friend that he can bend space and time, and single mother Niki Sanders starts seeing strange things in mirrors.

Upon learning of his father's death, genetics Professor Mohinder Suresh begins to look into his research for a clue to why he was killed. When he follows his father's trail to New York City, however, Mohinder learns that someone else is on the trail of the same research. Someone who may kill to protect the secrets of the next step in human evolution.

Series ini dibuka dengan adegan dimana Peter Petrelli jatuh dari apartemennya. Peter adalah perawat yang bekerja untuk Charles Deveaux yang tengah sakit parah. Putri Deveaux yang tengah berpacaran dengan Isaac (yang mampu melukis masa depan) dan menghadapi masalah dengan pacarnya itu. Kehadiran Peter membuatnya agak terhibur dan kelihatannya Peter pun menaruh hati dengan wanita cantik ini.

Sementara itu Dr. Mohinder Suresh di Madras India tengah mengajari teori evolusi yang kontroversial kepada para mahasiswanya. Mohinder mengutarakan teorinya bahwa manusia mempunyai potensi untuk berevolusi melampaui kemampuannya seperti teleportasi, Elevasi, telepati dan sebagainya. Tidak lama berselang ayahnya (Dr. Chandra Suresh) diberitakan meninggal di Amerika. Dr Chandra Suresh tengah meneliti hal serupa yg difahami Mohinder Putranya. Mengetahui hal itu Mohinder berangkat ke New York untuk mencari tahu apa sebenarnya yang terjadi dengan almarhum ayahnya itu. Dan dari sinilah petualangan para heroes dimulai.

Satu per satu heroes ditemukan oleh Mohinder. Dan satu per satu misteri dipecahkan olehnya. Seperti Peter Petrelli yang merasa dirinya memiliki kemampuan, hingga yang berbahaya seperti "Sylar" alias Gabriel. Episode awal ini memperkenalkan beberapa tokoh penting seperti Claire sang cheerleader yang menjadi inti cerita, Niki/Jessica yang berkepribadian ganda.

Matt Parkman yang mampu membaca pikiran orang. Hiro yang mampu memanipulasi ruang dan waktu dan sebagainya. Singkatnya episode-episode awal ini membahas proses perubahan para super hero ini dari orang biasa menjadi luar biasa. Kebanyakan dari mereka awalnya tidak menyadari kemapuannya itu.

Serial TV tentang superhero adalah hal yang biasa : seorang pahlawan pembela kebenaran yang diberkahi kekuatan super (special abilities)dan memiliki misi menumpas kejahatan di dunia. Mulai dari tingkat lokal ada Si Pitung, Gatot Kaca hingga Superman. Ada yang berbeda dengan serial fenomenal "HEROES" yang tengah mewabah di seluruh penjuru dunia. Bila superhero biasanya digambarkan secara komikal memakai kostum kebesarannya (superman dengan baju ketat biru, celana dalam merah di luar dan jubahnya, Wonder Woman dengan busana super sexynya) maka super hero di dalam serial Heroes tidak satu pun yang mengenakan kostum menyolok. Mereka ditampilkan layaknya manusia biasa (ordinary people) dengan kegiatan mereka sehari-hari yang normal seperti layaknya kita semua. Ambil contoh Claire Bennet yang memiliki kemampuan "self-healing/Regeneration" diperlihatkan sebagaimana seorang siswi SMU yang aktif di kelompok cheerleadernya dan mengalami konflik layaknya remaja umumnya. Padahal gadis cantik satu ini "tidak ada matinya" (dalam artian yang sebenarnya). Bahkan bila anggota tubuhnya terputus-pun akan tumbuh kembali (regenerating). Ada lagi tokoh yang bernama Peter Petrelli yang sehari-hari bekerja sebagai perawat paramedis tetapi juga memiliki kemampuan menyerap kemampuan orang lain. Coba lihat Jessica/Niki seorang perempuan muda nan sexy sekaligus ibu dari seorang bocah bernama Micah yang memiliki kebpribadian ganda. Putranya sendiri,Micah, adalah anak ajaib yang mampu berkomunikasi dan mengendalikan alat-alat. Dan masih ada seabreg lagi orang-orang ajaib yang muncul dengan sosok sehari-hari. Inilah menariknya Heroes. Jalinan cerita yang berkesinambungan bagus. Plot-pot dan twist kejutan juga menghiasi di sana-sini. Anda tidak akan ingin berhenti menantikan kisah selanjutnya. Well itulah kehebatan Tim Kring, the real hero behind Heroes!
